In The Beginning

John and Erin have lived in their home for many years and over the years have remodeled many parts of it but had not yet remodeled their master bath. With this remodel, they wanted to update the space, so it would be more elegant and upscale, yet still maintain the original details of their 1930’s home. They were looking for a more efficient layout for the bathroom that included an updated master closet. Most importantly, they wanted a place to enjoy getting ready for the day. For this project, we worked with CocoBello Interiors to design the perfect master bath.

About The Build

To meet John and Erin's wants with their updated bathroom, we made sure to keep some of the original house features, while also adding in new modern elements. One way we did this was by converting the original swinging bathroom doors into pocket doors. This made the space flow better, while still keeping the unique, original doors. To update the bathroom, we put in a glass cornered, walk-in shower with a detailed tile design. In the attached master closet, we designed a custom closet shelving system that is completed with shelves, drawers, hanging space, and an ironing workstation.

One of the baths main accent pieces is the double sink vanity with a Cambria polished Bellingham vanity top and a Splendours Dots blue décor backsplash. This larger, custom designed vanity is part of the bathrooms updated and upscale look. Lastly, to fulfill their wish of having an enjoyable space to start the day, we installed a heated Décor Linked porcelain tile floor, as well as built a custom, sit down dressing table for her and a wall mounted, lighted shaving mirror for him.
